Prior to establishing her fractional communications practice — Kennedy Creative Co. — in April 2026, Katie spent more than a decade in communications and marketing for a Fortune 500 manufacturing company.

Most recently, Katie was embedded within senior leadership leading communications and marketing for Eaton’s Aerospace Group — a $3.7 billion business operating across four global divisions and 41 manufacturing facilities.

Working directly alongside C-suite executives, Katie stayed equally engaged with commercial leaders, operations leaders and plant managers, human resources and legal. Because the communication challenges that shape how an organization functions don’t live only at the top.

Her experience includes two strikes and multiple successful labor negotiations, plant closures and product line transitions, reductions in force, M&A activity from pre-deal through full integration, sensitive customer communications, issues management, and enterprise-wide crisis response. She has planned and developed messaging and content for board, investor and customer events, and spent years navigating the legally sensitive, operationally consequential moments where the wrong message doesn’t just land badly — it costs the business.
